Nerf Stampede ECS Review

The Nerf Stampede is a new toy gun that was released in 2010. It is a large gun that is meant more for stationary positions.

The new Nerf Stampede ECS Blaster is a fully automatic gun that may have outdone most of the previous Nerf guns. Released in August of 2010, this is one of the newest Nerf gun on the market. The Nerf N-strike line of toy guns has been taking the world by storm in the last few years and it is no surprise that they are very popular in most countries. There are “Nerf Wars” in the offices and these toy guns are popular with both adults and children alike. The largest attraction to these toy guns is that the ammo is made of foam and is very safe to use for people of all ages.

The Nerf Stampede gun itself is made of thick plastic that makes it durable and slightly heavy. It has an on and off switch, much like the safety switch of a real rifle.

Weighing in at just above five pounds, it may not be suitable to be carried around on the battleground by kids. However, it does have a pop-out bipod that lets the soldier wannabe station at a certain position and use the weapon like a machine gun. This bipod also acts like a handle. The blaster allows the user many positions in utilizing it. These include the main grip, barrel grip, long-top grip and the bipod grip.

The Nerf Stampede comes with three extended clips that can contain up to 18 foam darts each. This is the highest capacity of all Nerf guns! However, the extended clips tend to be longer than the bipod and this means that the two should not be used together in a stationary position. It also comes with a 6-dart clip that allows for quick reloading. There is a clear plastic panel on the side of the gun that allows the “bullets” to be seen as they are being shot out of the gun.

The blaster is able to fire roughly one dart every second and this means that it is possible to unload a clip in a matter of seconds. The firing range is a respectable 30 feet. There is also a blast shield at the top of the gun that helps deflect enemy fire. It is removable and allows the user to stay mobile after removing it.

The Nerf Stampede is a very realistic sub-machine gun and is much easier to use than some of its predecessors. It is also less prone to jams and requires six D batteries which, sadly, are not included.
